Amanda Maffei has worn many hats as a musician. She has performed from an eclectic range of styles: pop rock, folk, jazz, classical and world music, as a singer/songwriter, pianist, guitarist, drummer, pennywhistler, accordianist, and flutist, among others. Though performing as a solo artist has been Amanda's most common outlet, she has been the lead singer of rock bands, Top40 combos, choral member for the BSO, been a wedding singer, as well as a church cantor. She has written music for theater productions, benefits, children, and for her own personal expression, as well as recorded much of her original work, some of which appear in her CD "Just Landing."
Projects in the works include a forthcoming CD compiled of songs for children, as well as a five part cable series entitled "Manda's Muse Tube" for this cable television station which should be airing sometime this fall. So stay tuned.
