Singer songwriter Dan Cloutier has been playing the local Boston folk scene for the past 6 years working his way slowly up the ladder. In that time, he has opened for such famous national and Bostonian acts as Ellis Paul, Vance Gilbert, and Les Sampou, and has had the pleasure to grace the stage at Club Passim, Tupelo Music Hall, and the Amazing Things Arts Center. Dan tries to write songs that are beautiful, relevant, and full of redemption. Over time he has become a talented performer full of energy and beauty. After years of demos being passed to strangers, on March 19th, 2006 he will release his first major release entitled, “Bottles and Seeds,” at the Amazing Things Arts Center (where Dan also hosts a weekly open mike). The CD was produced by Seth Connelly and has been widely praised. In the next few months it will be interested to see where the new disc takes Dan on his musical journey.
